What is the purpose of The Grove?
To point women to God through spiritual growth and community building. It’s “a place for women to gather and grow”. Our studies are designed to create an environment where women will have a safe place to grow in their faith and knowledge of the Bible, and develop a sense of belonging and community. Quality, age-appropriate childcare and home school programming for children, infant through preschool is provided.
What is the format for the morning?
- 9:00 a.m. - Childcare opens, Community and Coffee provided in Café
- 9:30-11:15 a.m. - Study Time
Where do I purchase my material for my study?
All curricula will be on sale at the book table. Checks are made payable to Prairie Lakes Church.
What if I have a specific need?
Whether your need is emotional, physical, or spiritual we want to know. We have a wonderful Care Department who are available to listen, pray and/or try and provide what help is needed. Please feel free to log onto our website to submit your prayer request or ask to speak to someone.
What is the weather cancellation policy?
We follow the Cedar Falls Community School District snow policy. If Cedar Falls schools are delayed or cancelled due to bad weather, we will not meet. Please check the PLC website at prairielakeschurch.org or visit kwwl.com.
Who makes The Grove happen?
In short, it’s YOU! We are overwhelmingly made up of a group of volunteers. We have women serving as lobby hostesses, greeters, valet, leaders, setup team, coffee prep, and check-in kiosks.
