Party @ theRock and theRoad!

Coming to the Cedar Falls Campus, Wednesday October 19th theRock and theRoad are PARTAYING!!! Come prepared to have a blast!

Bring some friends and enjoy the indoor inflatables, OCTOBALL, games, food, and did someone say Dance Party?!?!

The PARTY is from 6-7:15pm for theRock (Middle School) and 7:30-9pm for theRoad (High School).

Your child is FANTASTIC!

 
 
You already knew that, right?  We have been learning that we are all "wonderfully made." God made each and every one of us - from the hairs on our head to the our little pinky toes. God made us and that makes us FANTASTIC! 

We want your preschooler to remember EVERY DAY that he is FANTASTIC.  So this month, we wanted to share with you a fun project you and your preschooler can do together to help your preschooler remember that God made them and they are FANTASTIC. 

Here is what you do:

• Take some pictures of your preschoolers doing amazing and wonderful things.
• Purchase a small, plastic photo book.
• Print out a cover page, book back page, and all of the pages to create a book.  Download pages here
• Insert the book pages on the left and add a picture of your child that corresponds on the right.

In a matter of minutes, you will have a special book that your preschooler will learn to "read" quickly and that reminds him how FANTASTIC he is.

 

I am wonderfully made!

What an amazing truth for every preschooler to have in their hearts. They are wonderfully made by a God who loves them!

Take some time to practice this month's bible verse, Psalm 139:14, with your preschooler.  Watch the video below as Carolyn Flaherty, our Wee Kids Programming Coordinator, shows us the actions to this verse.
