Cedar Valley Hospice is looking for compassionate people to provide support to terminally ill patients and their families. Volunteers help patients and families to maintain a sense of balance and quality of life during a most difficult time.
Services volunteers provide include: companionship, respite, listening, shopping, errands and transportation. Volunteers also assist in the Hospice Home. Effective volunteers are willing to listen and respond to families' needs with genuineness and empathy.
