What beautiful contributions by Deb and Lynnette last week as they shared with us the story of Mary, mother of Jesus. It left lots to ponder, did it not? Also, Alisa and Marissa's wonderful piece brought forth so much emotion. Wonderful job, girls! What a joyous season to remember His greatest gift, Jesus Christ who was born to die for us.
Some of you have asked about the publications that Deb and Lynnette were using so they have allowed me to share.
Deb read from a small gift book that comes with a CD called Mary Did You Know? by Gloria Gaither and Mark Lowry.
Lynnette's contributions were from two books. One is Everyday Miracles by: Dale Hanson Bourke and the other is What Every Mom Needs by: Elisa Morgan & Carol Kuykendall.
Also, just a quick reminder that this Thursday, the 8th will be our last meeting of the year. It will be a Coffee Talk so you may sit wherever you want. The first meeting of the next semester will be on Thursday, January 12th. You're encouraged to invite friends to check us out. We hope to see all of your smiling faces back with us in the New Year.
Finally, remember to "Like" our Cafe Mom page on Facebook. There will be reminders there from time to time and it's also a good way to get friends together for play dates and announce fun kid events that may be going on around town. Invite friends and share! We would love to hear stories about your holidays.
